"Finish turned out really nice"
I ordered a few parts from mkmachining.com the finish came out better than I was expecting. The edges were clean, I didn’t notice any weird marks, and the surface just had a really nice look to it. For what I needed, it felt like they put some care into it, or maybe the process is just dialed in, either way, I’m happy with how everything turned out.

I’ll admit, I’m usually loyal to another brand, so I wasn’t expecting to like these as much as I did. But the quality is solid, the cuts came out clean, and there weren’t any weird marks or rough spots. Kind of made me rethink sticking with my usual go-to.
"Okay work, but communication felt really impersonal"
The actual work turned out fine, but the communication was frustrating. I had to keep asking just to get basic updates, and when I did get replies, they were either super short or not very clear. It also felt like there was basically no real human contact, which made the whole process feel even more confusing. Most of the time I was left guessing what was happening. I think it would have been a much better experience if someone had explained things more clearly and actually checked in like a real person.

"Fit was fine, but mine didn’t hold up long"
I ordered a small machined part from mkmachining, and my first impression was actually good. It looked clean out of the box, fit the way I needed it to, and shipping was about what I expected.
After a few weeks of normal use, though, mine started showing wear faster than I was hoping. The finish marked up badly, and one edge seemed to wear down quicker than it should have. I wasn’t being rough with it or anything, just using it like I normally would.
For the price, I personally expected it to last longer. Maybe I just got a weaker one, but based on my experience, the durability wasn’t great.

"Return went okay, all things considered"
I ended up having to return a part because I picked the wrong size, so that was on me. The return process on mkmachining.com was actually easier than I expected, though I’ll admit I was kind of waiting for it to become a hassle. After a few emails, they let me know what needed to be sent back and the instructions were clear enough.
The exchange took a bit longer than I would’ve liked, so I wasn’t exactly thrilled the whole time, but it did get handled in the end. Support was polite and seemed to know what they were doing, even if the updates could’ve come a little faster. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience, just not perfectly smooth

The parts looked okay at first, but the tolerances just weren’t close enough for what I needed. I was told they’d be “within spec” and that everything would be fine, but that’s vague when the final fit doesn’t actually work. Kind of frustrating because the appearance was decent, but the precision wasn’t there.

"Fast replies and genuinely helpful support"
I had a quick question before placing an order with MK Machining, and based on past experiences with other sites, I figured I’d be waiting a while. To my surprise, they got back to me really fast.
The support team was easy to talk to and didn’t make me feel like I was wasting their time. They explained what I needed clearly and even followed up, which I really appreciated.
From my experience, everything went smoothly because they were actually responsive and helpful. It’s nice dealing with a company that answers your questions instead of leaving you hanging

I liked that mkmachining.com is Made in the USA, and that’s the main reason I decided to give them a try. I try to support US shops when I can, so I went into it expecting a solid experience.
But the whole order ended up feeling kind of underwhelming. Updates were slow, and the part was fine, I guess, but not really what I expected for the price. I don’t want to act like it was a disaster, but they definitely didn’t make it easy to feel excited about ordering again.

There really wasn’t much to choose from, which was disappointing. When I asked about other options, it kind of felt like they were making it my problem instead of trying to help.

I decided to give them a try once, but the whole experience left me disappointed. At first I figured it might just be a small issue, but after dealing with it and not feeling like it was properly addressed, it became more frustrating than it was worth. I don’t see myself ordering from them again.

"Throw lever just wasn’t for me"
I bought this throw lever hoping it would make things easier, but right out of the box it fit way too loose. Every time I tried using it, it would slip, which got annoying fast. Maybe someone else might have better luck with it, but personally, I don’t think it was worth the hassle.

"Wish I’d known how much of a pain the install would be"
I ordered this from mkmachining.com i kind of regret not looking more into the install first. It ended up being way more of a hassle than I expected. The fit didn’t feel quite right, and the instructions weren’t much help, so I kept having to stop and figure out what I was supposed to do next. It took a lot longer than it should have and got frustrating. Maybe someone with more experience wouldn’t have a problem, but for me it was just annoying.

In the end, the parts came out fine and were what I asked for, so I don’t really have any complaints about the actual machining work from mkmachining.com.
The only downside was that communication felt a bit slow. I had to reach out for updates instead of getting them along the way, which made the whole thing feel a little less smooth than I expected. Not a bad experience, just okay overall

"Felt cheaper than I expected"
The parts looked okay at first, but once I actually handled them, the metal felt flimsy. Kind of annoying because I went through the effort of unpacking everything and checking it over, only to feel like it wasn’t as sturdy as I hoped.
